We went to visit Bangla TV as part of our local media scene. It is a Bengali Television station that shows programmes and films both English and Bengali and broadcasts the news from Bangladesh. It is the first Bengali TV station ever to be started. We met the chairman of the station, Firoz Khan, who was the person that started the business. He said that their main target audience was for the Bengali community living in London. He says that they own two studios in Bangladesh and are in direct contact with them. I asked a bit about the opportunities they have for young people wanting to break into the business and he explained a bit about the work experience and apprenticeships that they host. This is a picture of Abigail of I, when we were invited to
go on stage and were asked various questions.
